Beginning November 11, I will begin using my iPad 2 in place of my laptop (and desktop) for one week. Equipped with a Bluetooth keyboard, I will be monitoring and surveying heavy use of email, editing documents, spreadsheets, web browsing, and calendaring. And while there are several programs that I currently use that aren’t compatible for tablet use, I’ll be looking at alternative solutions (if any) for those applications.
A comprehensive review will hopefully lead to some insight as to the validity of the tablet market penetrating the enterprise market, and if it’s mature enough to succeed in its current version. I’ll also introduce a ‘virtual’ solution that will allow me to use Windows 7 on an iPad…yes, an iPad.
Interested? So am I.
